CDCheck’s purpose is to help you detect damaged files, prevent loss of files, and recover files. From the application’s name, you may think it only works with CDs. But the thing is that CDCheck works with all files that are recognized by the operating system, all files that can be viewed with Windows Explorer. CDCheck will work with CDs, DVDs, USB drives, and more.

Thanks to a setup wizard you will be able to quickly install CDCheck on your Windows-powered machine. The application provides support for any Windows version from Windows 95 onward. And since we’re talking about support, I am going to bring up the fact that CDCheck provides support for lots and lots of languages.

The application’s interface isn’t the prettiest thing in the world, but that doesn’t really matter. What matters is that it provides easy access to all the features and functions CDCheck has to offer. Or to put it in other words, everything is nicely presented on the interface and you can easily access all the application’s features and functions.

Speaking about that, here is what you can do with CDCheck: check readability of files and file hash values, check readability of files and CRC values, compare folders/files to check for errors, recover files, view information about inserted CDs or DVDs.

CDCheck is free for personal, non-commercial use. If you want to support the application’s development, please purchase a Personal License. If you can’t afford one, you must request a Free license.

Get CDCheck and use it to uncover errors on CDs, DVDs, and other media. Use to prevent file loss and recover damaged files.

Pros

There is nothing complicated about installing CDCheck on your PC; a wizard will guide you through the installation process. Support for multiple languages is provided. All the functionality is nicely presented on the application’s interface. CDCheck works with CDs, DVDs, and other media. CDCheck is free for personal use.

Cons

None that I could think of.
